This event resulted in the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the multi-storey parking facility.

Two individuals are now facing charges in connection with a suitcase robbery where a believed to be irritant spray caused injuries at the UK's busiest airport.

Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, now face two robbery charges and two counts of administering a noxious substance, as confirmed by court officials.

These accusations come after an investigation into an attack at the parking structure at Heathrow's Terminal Three on Sunday. Prior to the attack, two female travelers had their suitcases taken after exiting a car park lift, according to law enforcement.

A toddler was among those injured during the incident. Several persons required hospital care and were later discharged.

The incident – which authorities stated was not part of a series and not considered a terror-related act – led to disruptions to rail services and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park for a limited duration.
